Autumn has arrived. The royal blues, forest greens, cosy greys and rich burgundies are out to play, and I couldn’t be happier. It’s so difficult to decide which season I love the most, I suppose because each and every one boasts its very own beauty. Autumn has a special place in my heart for a number of reasons…the countdown to Christmas, the trees turning glorious shades of yellow, orange and fiery red, and, of course, the chance to finally bring out the autumnal fedoras, capes and chunky knits!

This recent photo shoot with blogger Hayley was what really kick-started my summer goodbyes. We headed to one of my favourite locations at St Paul’s Cathedral to photograph this perfect transitional look for the beginning of fall, on a grey and chilly day in London. I loved her choice of the pinafore paired with a white bell-sleeve turtle neck, giving it a real 70s vibe. But that grey and cream felt fedora was really the cherry on top for me. I’m personally a huge lover of hats and sadly always notice the lack of headgear in the city. Hopefully as we get more into the season, and the temperatures drop, people will warm to sporting a bit more than just beanie and remember that flatcaps, berets and trilbies do still exist…
