In today’s style post I’d like to share with you the second look from a shoot I did with one of my best friends, Josephine. You can see pictures from the first shoot here, a 50’s Glam shoot we put together.
I shot these photographs a few months ago in Dubai when we had gorgeous early summer weather, perfect for a garden styled shoot. I wanted the look to be young, colourful and ‘Grease-esque’ and after raiding Jo’s cupboard, we came up with a couple of looks that fit just wonderfully.
The entire look is H&M, with the exception of the jewellery from Accessorize. I loved the colours in the crop top so much that I wanted to keep it in both looks and simply change the skirt. Isn’t it amazing how changing the shape and colour of one piece of clothing can change a look entirely?!
With a sleek emerald pencil skirt and an up-do we went for a more sophisticated and demure first look, perfect for an evening garden party. While for the second look, although initially she had her hair up, we finally let it down and then added a fun cheer-leading white skirt – ideal for a picnic in the park, or a cute poolside outfit.
I so enjoy these creative style/fashion shoots, as it’s still my number one passion being behind the camera. Hope you enjoy them! Oh and suggestions are welcome if any of you have any thoughts for other shoots 🙂
